Princess Charlotte, 10, and Mom Kate Middleton Twin in Aqua for Picture-Perfect Trooping Moment...
Kate Middleton and her only daughter Princess Charlotte rode on the same side of the carriage in the Trooping the Colour parade on June 14—and twinned, as they’re known to do, in matching aquamarine style moments.
While riding in the carriage alongside one another—with George and Louis seated opposite them—the two chatted, smiled at one another, and even at one point bowed their heads in respect perfectly in sync as they rode by cheering crowds. The duo rode side‑by‑side in the carriage, sharing synchronized bows and warm smiles, marking a break from tradition as Charlotte matched her mother rather than her brothers.
\The mother-daughter bond is strong when it comes to Kate and Charlotte, and it extends beyond matching looks: according to a palace source speaking to People, Charlotte is “a bit of a mini-me” when it comes to her mother.
“She’s clearly sporty like her mother,” the source added. Charlotte loves ballet, tap, rugby, and soccer, where the newly minted 10-year-old is known for her “grace and sportsmanship—often seen congratulating players on the opposing team,” the source told People.
In addition to channeling her mother, Charlotte also has glimmers of her late great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. Like Her late Majesty, Charlotte is “a natural and has taken to royal events like a duck to water,” a source said, calling Charlotte “quite a strong character” and “almost wise beyond her years.”
